As trade across borders continues its exponential growth, the need for reliable and high-quality financial reporting as well as assurance provided by the auditors on them cannot be overstated; they are the keys to improving financial transparency, management accountability, good governance as the main source of investor confidence and contribute immensely to the process of achieving financial prudence.

Maldives Accountants Forum is the national platform for all professional auditors and accountants to discuss and deliberate on matters of mutual interest with industry stakeholders and regulators. The purpose of the forum is to promote accounting professionals and gain the trust and confidence of the industry in their work while giving them the opportunity to share, learn, network and understand the emerging issues

ABOUT MAF 2022

MAF 2022: A Grand Success


MAF 2022 marked a significant milestone in the journey of CA Maldives. With an impressive participation of over 240 individuals, this fourth annual event stood out as a resounding success. Themed "Economic Transformation: Rethinking Growth in the New Economy," MAF 2022 took place on October 29, 2022. The forum catered to a diverse audience, including auditors, accountants in business, regulators, members of the business community, and academia.

MAF 2022 witnessed the convergence of local and international industry experts, culminating in a total of 17 insightful and engaging sessions and panel discussions. The forum boasted an impressive lineup of 38 speakers, with 30 being esteemed local speakers and 8 distinguished international speakers.
