Dr. Mohamed Kinaanath

Dr. Mohamed Kinaanath is a highly distinguished technologist and academic researcher. Holding a "Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology" in New Zealand. Dr. Kinaanath has been honoured with national awards in the Maldives in ICT sector, including the prestigious 2021 Presidential Award for exceptional service in ICT - Computer Software and Software Application Development.

With a "Master’s Degree in e-Commerce" in Australia, achieving Distinction-level, and recognition through the "Griffith Award of Academic Excellence - 2004" and the "Qasim Ibrahim Award of Academic Excellence (QIAE) - 2007". Dr. Kinaanath has international experience at UNICEF Maldives Office.

As Chairman and Board Member of Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC) and the Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited (MHCL), Dr. Kinaanath contributes significantly to these organisations. He is acknowledged as a leading ICT and Smart Technologies expert. He is an Assistant Professor and his extensive teaching experience, encompassing over 10,000 students. Dr. Kinaanath is an academic researcher and has supervised 130 Master’s Degree Dissertations and 90 Undergraduate Final Year Projects.
