Ms. Ayesha Nurain Janah

As Group Vice Chair at Hotels and Resorts Investments Maldives (HARIM), Nurain oversees a
multi-industry family business. With over a decade of experience in corporate governance, finance and
strategy, Nurain is a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand
(CAANZ), a Fellow Member of CA Maldives, and a Certified Member of the Institute of Finance
Professionals New Zealand (INFINZ), and holds a BSc in Economic Geography and a Masters in
Accounting.
Nurain specialises in transforming enterprises into sustainable organisations through diversification and
equitable and efficient governance and operations. She founded Rehendhi Consulting to advise
businesses in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
A passionate philanthropist and advocate for systemic equality, she serves on multiple advisory boards
and founded Authenticity Aotearoa, an award-winning charity. Nurain recently launched Kandūfā
Foundation, a philanthropic initiative based in Maldives and working in South Asia on leadership,
environmental stewardship, and cultural heritage preservation.
