Mr. Ahmed Asad Hashim

Chief Financial Officer, MACL

Ahmed Asad Hashim is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the field. Currently, he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). In his role as CFO, Asad is responsible for overseeing all finance-related activities of the company, such as strategic planning, implementation, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance, as well as negotiations. He has diverse range of experience in multiple industries including fishery, manufacturing, gas, transport, port, telecommunications, and aviation.

Prior to joining MACL, he was the financial controller for Dhiraagu Plc. He is also a board member for Maldives National Air Traffic Company (MANTS) Pvt. Ltd since Sep-23.
